🟥 Uber x Amex

As is known, the Amex Platinum card now gives $120/year in statement credits for UberOne (make sure to toggle off Uber cash when signing up) plus $15 Uber Cash every month (and $35 in December).

Amex Gold gives $10 Uber Cash every month.

The Delta Reserve, Reserve Business, Platinum, Platinum Business, Gold and Gold Business Amex Card Members receive a monthly statement credit for UberOne until 6/25/26.

But recently, there was a new rule that you can only use the monthly credit if you use the Platinum card as a payment method.

The catch is, this will create a problem for the following offers as you won’t be able to get the UberOne benefits with the Amex Platinum/Gold credits at the same time since you will need the respective payment method to be used.

🟩 Uber x PayPal Offer

Uber & UberEats are offering five free months of Uber One when you sign up with PayPal as the payment method. Offer ends 2/3/26.

To claim this deal:

• Open the Paypal app
• Navigate to Menu → Offers
• Locate the PayPal offer
• Follow the prompts to complete sign-up

However, it’s important to note that this offer is similar to the previous Uber One deals – you can only utilize the Uber One benefits when ordering using PayPal as your payment method.

Therefore, the Uber One benefits will not work with Amex Uber credits, which require the Amex card to be the payment method. Vouchers and gift cards stack without any issues in all cases.

🟦 Uber x Venmo Offer

Get 5 months of Uber One free when you sign up using Venmo as your payment method. Offer ends March 22, 2026.

To claim this deal:

• Open the Uber app
• Navigate to Account → Partner Rewards
• Locate the Venmo offer
• Follow the prompts to complete sign-up

This one too. You can only utilize the Uber One benefits when using Venmo as your payment method.

Therefore, the Uber One benefits will not work with Amex Uber credits, which require the Amex card to be the payment method. Vouchers and gift cards stack without any issues in all cases.

🟨 Uber x Apple Pay Offer

The Apple Card has an offer of free Uber One for six months if you have the Apple Card and sign up with it through Apple Pay

Here as well, the UberOne benefits also only apply if you use Apple Pay as the payment method.

However, the Amex credit has now been found to stack with the Apple x UberOne offer when using any card on Apple Pay. Vouchers and gift cards stack without any issues in all cases.
