Now, if you know me, you know that a true Deal Hunter doesn’t just accept the rules; we test them. Even when you find a deal, you still have to hunt for the best way to play it.

The Experiment

I decided to call the bluff. I didn’t need $20 worth of random stuff. I just wanted the snacks.

• I grabbed two bags.
• I marched to the checkout with zero extra items in my cart.
• I held my breath as they scanned.

…Lo and behold! The deal stuck. It triggered automatically!

Of course, I let him know right away so he could get in on the action; and Sam Saves once again!

• Price: $0.99 per bag
• Size: 2.5 oz (Not the massive party bag, but hey, for a buck? Solid.)

The Takeaway

If you stop by soon, just know you can grab them for $0.99 without breaking the bank on other stuff. It seems like there are oddly a lot of deals right now, especially for a hot season, but this was a nice little adventure.
