Update: there is a DP that the Amex credit will apply even when using Apple pay with any card. Post still applies for the PayPal x UberOne offer. Vouchers and gift cards stack without any issues in all cases.
As is known, the Amex Platinum card gives a $15 Uber/UberEats credit every month (and $35 in December).
But recently, there was a new rule that you can only use the credit if you have the Platinum card as a payment method.
Now recently, the Apple Card has an offer of free Uber One for six months (if you have the apple card and sign up with it through Apple Pay), but the UberOne benefits also only apply if you use Apple Pay as the payment method.
The catch is, you won’t be able to get the UberOne benefits with the Amex Platinum credits at the same time since you will need the respective payment method to be used.
